New FREE Report Series #3: How to Make a Six-Figure Income Traveling
-- The $8,000 Challenge.
Dear Right Way to Travel Reader,
We’re here in Panama City, Panama this week to learn how to make a six-figure income traveling and I just gave our attendees this challenge...
Make $8,000 in one month from what they learned here this weekend -- a combination of travel writing, photography, import-export and tours -- and I’ll write them a check for an extra $1,000.
I’m calling it our $8,000 Challenge. And you’re invited to take part too.
The idea behind what we’re learning here is simple: While you may not be able to make a six-figure income from travel writing alone, you can certainly make a six-figure income by combining your travel writing skills with photography, import-export and tours.
After all, Reece Guth (our resident import-export expert here with us in Panama) makes six-figures importing clay pots from Nicaragua. And $100,000 a year is only a little more than $8,000 a month. Cynthia Morris, our resident create-your-own-tours expert profits 3,000-$10,000 on every tour she plans.
And just yesterday I told you about our guest editor who pays $1,000-$2,000 for feature articles and $100-$400 for short ones.
So I made our attendees this challenge and I encourage you to take part too...
The first two people to profit from what we learned here in Panama can get a check from me for an extra $1,000 if they use what we learned here to make $8,000 or more in a single month.
If you’d like to take part in this challenge, you’ll find the recordings from this event here so you can catch up.
You’ll learn:
** How to sell your travel articles to editors... how travel writers get paid... plus, the easiest way to break in (even if you’ve never sold an article before)...
** How to sell your pictures for stock -- what it takes to break in, what’s selling today and what isn’t, and how to set yourself up so that you can create a second income stream from photos that sell themselves… even while you’re sleeping...
** How to start your own import-export business -- what to look for when you travel, how to set prices, how to keep the most profit, and the easiest ways to ship your product in and out of the U.S....
** How to profit from organizing your own tours -- what kinds of tours sell best, how to design your own, how to take orders, and most importantly how to spend as little as possible on advertising and pocket an upwards of $10,000 on a single trip...
** And more...
Simply listen to the recordings. Try your hand at what you learn. And if you use what you learn to make $8,000 or more in a single month, send me an email. If I can use your story in an upcoming newsletter, I’ll send you a check for $1,000.
The truth is, while we’re trying to remain positive here in the AWAI Travel Division, times are tough all over the country.
We’ve had a decent year. And because of that, we’d like to share a bit of the wealth.
So go ahead and try our challenge. Re-read my list of the biggest mistakes most people make when they’re doing this, here.
And once you get past those things, send me an email and let me know how you’re doing. I’d love to feature you in an upcoming newsletter issue. Maybe even send you a check.

P.S. Here’s a quick tip Reece gave us today about setting your prices for import export products...
The Power of Three: Find a product you can sell for three times its price. One third will cover the cost of the product. One third will cover advertising, shipping, customs and taxes. And one third will be your profit.
Of course, the Power of Three is just a rule of thumb. Handicrafts and small items can sometimes be purchased for cents on the dollar and sold for $20+. With those kinds of bargains (and the ability to carry the items in your suitcase rather than pay for shipping), a $100-$300 investment can put you well over your $8,000/month goal if you’re looking for six figures a year.
You’ll find copies of Reece’s presentations along with presentations by travel writer Jennifer Stevens, photographer Shelly Perry, and tour designer Cynthia Morris, here.
