The Right Way to Travel
Holiday Travel, Writing, or Photo Tip #8
******************

Dear Reader,

Yesterday, Bonnie said I’d send you an audio clip from our How to Make a Six-Figure Income as a Traveler Workshop. In the clip, I give a quick breakdown of the four tools we covered in Panama -- travel writing, photography, import/export, and tours.

You’ll also hear a quick run-down of the math -- how much you can expect to make in each of these fields as well as how much to charge if the magazine, newspaper or photo buyer doesn’t have standard rates.

If you’d like to listen in, I posted it here.

Since yesterday, I’ve been getting a lot of e-mails, too, wondering if I’ll also reintroduce the $8,000 Challenge -- the first two readers to take what they learn on the recordings and earn over $8,000 in a single month, will get an extra $1,000 from me to tell our readers about it.

This is a great way to start the New Year. So yes, I’ll bring that back, too.

You see, the idea behind what we learned in Panama (and what you’ll learn from these recordings) is simple: While you may not be able to make a six-figure income from travel writing alone, you can certainly make six figures by combining your travel writing skills with photography, import-export, and tours.

After all, Reece Guth (our resident import-export expert with us in Panama), makes six figures importing clay pots from Nicaragua. And $100,000 a year is only a little more than $8,000 a month. Cynthia Morris, our resident create-your-own-tours expert profits $3,000 to $10,000 on every tour she plans.

Also on the recordings, you’ll hear from a newsletter editor who pays $1,000 to $2,000 for feature articles and $100 to $400 for short ones.

If you’d like to take part in this challenge, you’ll find the recordings from Panama here so you can catch up.
You’ll learn:

** How to sell your travel articles to editors... how travel writers get paid... plus, the easiest way to break in (even if you’ve never sold an article before)...

** How to sell your pictures for stock -- what it takes to break in, what’s selling today and what isn’t, and how to set yourself up so that you can create a second income stream from photos that sell themselves... even while you’re sleeping...

** How to start your own import-export business -- what to look for when you travel, how to set prices, how to keep the most profit, and the easiest ways to ship your product in and out of the U.S....

** How to profit from organizing your own tours -- what kinds of tours sell best, how to design your own, how to take orders, and, most importantly, how to spend as little as possible on advertising and pocket upward of $10,000 on a single trip...

** And more...

Simply listen to the recordings. Try your hand at what you learn. And if you use what you learn to make $8,000 or more in a single month, send me an e-mail. If I can use your story in an upcoming newsletter, I’ll send you a check for $1,000.

Again, you’ll find the full set of recordings, here.

Just remember... the recordings are unedited and uncut, so you’ll notice that sometimes the recording starts early or runs late with chatter from all the attendees in the room. But the information is all there. We saved money on the editing and, in exchange, dropped the price dramatically.

Enjoy your holiday.
