What are you working on now?
I have four pending articles with an editor now. They have said they thought they could use them and would get back with me. Some with photos.

What has been your proudest writing, photography, or import/export moment?
My golf article with photos.

Please give us an example of how your life has changed since becoming a travel writer, photographer, or import-exporter.
I wasn't busy enough running a travel consulting business (25 yrs) keeping up with 2 acres on the water with a boat and golf.

I really caught a bug when I went to the very first Travel Writers workshop with AWAI in Paris. Charmed by Jen Stevens, Adrian Leeds and John Forde. And, of course, Steenie Harvey.

They really "charge" you in those writing groups. And, in case, your excitment was waining, they started the Photo workshops which are very very exciting. (Such cool people -- Rich Wagner and now Sherry Perry).

The "students" are always an interesting group from all over. I like that.

It's a lot of fun and they're so stimulating. It's hard to miss even one of the gahterings of "the clan".

As far as being monitarily successful...I'm a slow learner but then Hope springs eternal.

What success tip would you like to share with your fellow AWAI members?
Find TIME to read all the great information they send you and time for writing and taking photos..

When did you realize you were living the writer’s or photographer’s life?
