| three articles have been submitted to local magazines in Antigua, Guatemala and the creation of a central American real estate related newsletter for two Coldwell Banker brokers in Nicaragua, as their 'roving reporter'. | What has been your proudest writing, photography, or
import/export moment? |
| I received a note yesterday within minutes of submission of an article yesterday saying that the editor liked it, it was very timely and he was going to run it. I can't speak of import/export, since those days are over and the statute of limitations may still be in effect. |

import-exporter. |
| bar owners buy ME drinks and I get better tables and service at restaurants. I get invited to better parties. |
| |
| What success tip would you like to share with your
fellow AWAI members? |
| Establish a pattern, routine or daily writing session; never leave home without your camera and a pocket full of business cards(memo to self....have better cards made today!) Show no fear in approaching people...everyone wants to have their story told. |
| |
| When did you realize you were living the writer’s or
photographer’s life? |
| When I was invited to visit a gold mining operation two nights ago, here in Guatemala, where they 'spit on jade' and throw it to the side of the river because its in the way of getting at the gold. |
